Ginger Spice Hooded Cowl
"This Ginger Spice Hooded Cowl is simple gorgeous, thick, warm and cozy and perfect for the fall and winter months. The hoodie portion is optional. This pattern works up within a few hours using Caron Tea Cakes and a 10mm hook. The texrure created in this pattern is stunning and also really simple to achieve. It's just the Half Double Crochet stitch worked into the third loop of the stitch. You could weave the short ends together if you did not want to use buttons. I think this is a worthy pattern to give a try. I'm sure you will be happy with the outcome as much as I am."

I like that there is a pattern for me to try the new Caron Tea Cakes yarn. I would also like to be able to see this on a model, so I can see what the hooded part looks like. It looks rather small, but that could just be due to the fact that there is nothing to compare it to. This cowl with hood must be pretty sizeable if it uses and entire Tea Cakes.
