Lavender Kisses Cowl
"Soft, feminine, delicate, cozy, warm, and pretty - the Lavender Kisses Cowl is all these things, as well as a free crochet pattern on Moogly! Made with Red Heart Unforgettable, the Lavender Kisses Cowl feels great against the skin, looks wonderful, and is 100% allergy free acrylic. And it comes in tons of colorways, so you can go bright and bold or soft and gentle, as I have with the Pearly colorway shown here. What’s unusual about this cowl is the sizing - only 24” around, it’s closer fitting, like a big neckwarmer. But it’s also 18” tall, so it puddles around the neck beautifully. This one skein crochet cowl pattern features an easy two-row repeat featuring crossed stitches - the pretty kisses are built right in!"

This is such a light and lovely cowl that it almost looks like a cloud floating around the models neck. This is a delightfully easy pattern, too, since it only requires one skein of yarn and repetitive rows. The designer chose to use the Red Heart Unforgettable yarn, but I have some cream colored baby yarn that also might be suitable as well.

I love Unforgetable yarn. In fact, right mow I am finishing up a baby dress I made with it. I think it is called parrot. It's so soft and light. I can't use a heavy yarn in Florida. This is just right and it is an easy yarn to use. It's soft on your hands!

Me, too! I think I know what yarn you're talking about (parrot) because I picked some up as well. We have quaker parrots and the colors reminded me of them.

I love the look of this Lavender Kisses Cowl! The stitch pattern and the drape of the yarn is just beautiful! After reading the written patten I so need this one in my collection of cowls. The basic stitches make up a beautiful stitch pattern, and the color is perfect for this up coming spring. This will be a light and lacy cowl. Thank you so much for sharing this free crochet cowl pattern.
