Crochet Checked Scarf
"This scarf is worked in vertical strips. Start with making the first vertical strip and then add two further vertical strips whilst joining to the previous strip as you go along. Each vertical strip is worked in 24 colour blocks, each block made up of 10 rows. Approximate size: 24cm x 200cm (including 10cm fringe at each end). Easily adjustable by adding more colour blocks. Written pattern and video tutorial. 1 colour block (13 sts/10 rows) = 8-8.5 cm x 8-8.5 cm approximately. Gauge is not critical for this project. You want the work to have a nice drape, not too loose and floppy but also not too stiff. I have loose tension so I like to use a 4mm hook for Stylecraft Special DK."
