Cosmic Scarf
"Need a quick project using some super bulky yarn? Or, it could be you've been wanting to try out a super bulky yarn? The Loops and Threads Kaleidoscope has amazing colorways that give you the chance to pick out your favorite. You can then sit down and work up the Cosmic Scarf in probably 30-45 minutes. Try the unique way of sewing just a few rows together on one end to allow for a beautiful drape that you'll love."

This cosmic scarf goes with the cosmic beanie pattern by this same designer. It is also made with the Kaleidoscope yarn only with a different color scheme. Michaels is the provider of the yarn for the designer. I shop at and support Michaels with my business a lot. I wish I could get them to donate some yarn to me too! )

This is such a simple yet elegant project. Youre essentially only working up a rectangle and then folding it in a particular way before sewing it together. Its warm enough for cooler weather, but Id use it more as an accessory, especially when paired with the matching beanie. No tricky stitches either as the texture is achieved using only Single and Double Crochet.

For those that are not keen on big, bulky, extra fabric hanging everywhere- maybe you're a larger size yourself and you feel too much fabric adds too much bulk to your frame?- this right here is a great option for you. There is also a matching beanie offered. This clean lined cowl is done up using just a simple single crochet! I'd say a beginner could do this one.
