While I personally remain on the fence about Super Scarves, I do understand their appeal. Sadly, I inherited the Hobbit gene from my ancestors, so they tend to look WAY oversized on me. That said, I generally adapt the project to my height by dropping down hook and yarn sizes. No problem reading through the instructions until I come to the Crunch Stitch. What the heck is that?

This Coastal Redwood Super Scarf Pattern is another project that is hard to ignore. The color is so appropriate for the fall season and can be worn until the winter months. The length and width are just right, it looks good when worn as a cowl as well. I like cowls that are kind of bulky on the neck area because they are the ones that provide the needed warmth when the weather gets too cold and freezing. The color and simplicity of this scarf will look good on both men and women.
