I agree that this is a great scarf to make for your little one so that you can pick them out in a crowd. I have done that myself with my son- dressed him for the beach with a bright colored shirt or something similar. THese are perfect colors of the rainbow. The purple is my favorite. I like the different look of the slanted stripes, made by the half-double crochet decreases on each row. A very easy stitch to do, even for beginners. Get your practice with color changes here!
