Cabled Cowl
"The Cabled Cowl is a great introduction to cables if you have never tried them before. There are no crossover stitches but the effect is just as stunning! Equally if you are confident with cables this is a project that will keep you interested throughout and works up fairly quickly. This warm winter cowl will look great in one solid colour or you can have so much fun playing with your colours! Skills needed (US Terms): chain or foundation stitches single crochet half double crochet double crochet front post double crochet I recommend using #3 weight yarn (DK) for this one, especially if you would like to use a contrasting colour for the cabled stitches to make the gorgeous texture pop. If using aran or #4 weight I would go up to a 5.5mm hook as carrying the yarn will make this cowl too stiff if the hook is too small. "
