What a beautiful cowl neck scarf that I would be PROUD to wear myself! To heck with the young girls, I want this for myself. I have been wanting to try the Lion Brand Landscapes and I think this would be the perfect place for me to start. OH MY! It looks like a bowl full of the most colorful candies ever made. What a joy this would be to wear on those grayest of gray and coldest of cold winter days. Thank you for this free pattern!

I usually stick to neutral or earth colors when it comes to making cowls but with this Boardwalk Carnival Cowl, I realized bold colors can also have their own personality. I imagine this cowl being worn to accentuate a white, navy blue or purple top. Great as summer or spring accessory to match the blooming spring flowers.

I love how many colors there are in this scarf! I could especially see any little girl loving this standout pattern.
