Alright! The beauty of this scarf has enticed me to give it a go even though I've never done broomstick lace before!!! It's so exquisite! I love the variety of textures, the yarn color, its drape ability. Need I go on. The tutorial looks well written and the pictures are clear. Any one have any tips...I'm all ears! Thanks for providing this alluring pattern!

Having never done broomstick crochet before I am really looking forward to making this lovely scarf. I am a little wary of the Intermediate rating but the scarf is so beautiful, the colors in the yarn are absolutely gorgeous, and looking at the photo pictorial on the pattern it does not look very hard at all. So here I go!

Beautiful broomstick lace scarf. I want to learn how to do the broomstick lace stitching. The instructions give a very detailed explanation on how to do this technique. It was very helpful. The water earth tones the designer used in this scarf are very tranquil and have a calming effect.

I love this broomstick lacy pattern.. Im going to make mine doing 2 loops instead of one, to give more texture. There for, instead of one single crochet, Ill do two. This way there are the same number of sc as loops to keep the stitch count. Thank you for the nice scarf pattern..

Cheryl, have you made broomstick lace in a pattern before? I've been crocheting for years but always been intimidated by this stitch, it just looks so difficult and easy to mess up. Any tips for someone who has never done this stitch before? How did you learn? Teach yourself, watch videos, someone taught you in person?
