All the Squish Cowl
"Quick and easy squishy cowl! The bulky yarn and extra large hooks give this cowl amazing texture and squishiness. You will be binding off and cutting the Fisherman color each row it is used but the Russet color will be carried up throughout the cowl. You can crochet over all the ends of the Fisherman color as you go leaving very few ends to weave when you finish! Since the yarn is thick and the hook is large, the ends can pull out easily. I used my P hook to pull the ends through the chain 2 (Fisherman color) before starting the next row. It was a little extra work each row but saved a bunch of time at the end."
Crochet HookP/16 or 11.5 mm hook, Q or 16mm hook

What a fun project. It uses very simple stitches and the hardest thing to remember is to change hooks at the same time you change colors. Youre only switching between a P and a Q size hook, so the difference isnt substantial. You could probably get away with using the same hook if you only have one size and not the other.

Where did summer go? Seems like only yesterday that the kids were getting out of school for the summer and today we are getting ready for cooler weather and beginning to decorate for Halloween with Christmas decorations already out at most stores. This free cowl pattern will certainly help get you in the spirit for chilly days to come.

I am quite surprised that there are no comments on this "All The Squish" cowl as of yet. It is a project suitable for an advanced beginner/easy, I agree with that. This pattern will have you getting practice on changing colors and fastening off and joining new. I like the look of this fat, chunky cowl! Equally stunning in black with the fisherman...
