Fair Trade Silk Yarn is some of the most unique yarn I've ever felt. It's very soft and has this feeling I just can't describe. The Lux Adventure Collection of White Recycled Silk Yarn is handspun to perfection by expert spinners. When I look at it I just want to dive my hands into it. There are little specs of red and blue throughout the spun yarn. You can hand clean, hand wash or run through a delicate cold cycle once you have made your project using this yarn. By having a couple skeins of this yarn you can crochet yourself a beautiful silk scarf.
The Handspun Fair Trade Mulberry Silk yarn is another fabulous yarn you should get your hands on. It's 100% silk worsted weight yarn that breaks in softly over time and has a beautiful hue to it. This red is fantastic! If you like more of a softer yarn then you can throw this in the dryer for a couple minutes on a low setting. Keep in mind this Mulberry Silk is such a great yarn to have that it must be dry cleaned to keep its color and richness.
Both of these yarns are greater in price because they're so unique and handspun, but you must get your hands on them! Find some free crochet patterns, grab your hook and get hookin!
