Essential DK Superwash Merino Yarn

The owners of Black Cat Fibers pride themselves in making quality yarn they would want to use themselves. With beautiful, unique colorways you will never come across a more amazing yarn. I got to review a couple different yarns, but the latest is Essential DK Superwash Merino Wool, and I am in love.


Each of the yarns is hand-dyed to perfection and even though this is made of wool, it is still considered a lightweight yarn, and of course it's super soft. Each skein is 100 grams and 231 yards and you will love each and every yard of it. Going back to the colorways, each is unique and simply stunning. Essential comes in variegated colors like Monet (a combination of deep purples, blues and greens), Purple Dragon (a combination of vibrant red, orange and blue - it reminds me of a strong sunset), and my favorite name Love is Like Oxygen (a combination of ocean blues, white and specks of black). You'll never find a more unique yarn than the ones offered by Black Cat Fibers.


Soft to the touch and a springy-like texture you will just love working up your next project with this yarn. No two skeins are exactly the same since they are hand-dyed, but that's what makes it so unique. Work up smaller projects like crochet scarves and cowls or go for something bigger like a lapghan or a sweater. Black Cat Fibers does not disappoint.
