Can you say colorful boys and girls? If you like color, this is the project for you. At the moment I don't have enough scraps to even consider making this and I am not sure if I would want to. However, I can see using two contrasting colors, one for the body and another for the neckline. I like the way it drapes on the dress form.

I like the idea of having a project to use up those scraps of yarn from previous projects. However, I never have enough of any yarn in the same yarn size. I guess that would not matter in some projects, but I would not want a baby yarn crocheted with a bulky yarn from a different project. That's just me.

What a great way to use up scraps. I am not fond of the color combination in the photo, especially the grey around the neck but that is just an example. I still like the pattern. I am a big fan of ponchos and this one, using so many colors, would look really good if you had a solid color outfit on underneath. Thanks for the pattern.

The effect from using so many different colored scraps of yarn makes a poncho that looks boutique-worthy and gives it kind of a wordly vibe, if you can understand what I am saying. I like that each and every person who makes one of these will end up creating a one of a kind piece of wearable art work! Using inexpensive yarn is a bonus!

I like the color combination used in this Scrap Happy Crochet Poncho. I like the loud colors but I think there is a better design for this color combination. The gray color used in the neckline portion and the light blue ruffles gave a cluttered look to the poncho's total appearance. Thanks for the free pattern.

The idea is good, but those colors . . . or just the thought of that many colors . . . NOT! Sorry. It just looks tacky.

Use the colors you like all too often I have seen ugly looking stuff like this but when I choose my colors the things really look quite good! I have done this one in all 1 color, with a fun fur collar and edging it turned out super cute!
