Wow! This Rainbow Lace Crochet Poncho is not only lovely but it is a great way to use up the smaller amounts of yarn that you may have left over from other specialized projects that required sparkly or multi colored yarns. I also love that it can go with so many different colors of top underneath.

Oh wow I love all the colors in this Rainbow Lace Crochet Poncho! I have to get this yarn called for in this one. I like the lacy look and it will be great for cool night this summer. The pattern is well written and I like that she has you making a swatch first, so the poncho comes out right. I'm looking forward to making and wearing this poncho. Thank you for sharing this free crochet poncho pattern.

The first thing I look at when browsing for a new crochet project is the pictures for the project. When I see a picture like this one and see that the pattern skill is easy I really get excited. I have a tendency to find patterns that cause a lot of issues when I try to crochet them. Reading over this pattern, I am confident, it is easy.

Even though this project is showing a skill level of easy the designer put a lot of work into the details. This project has both a finished collar and hem that will really make your project more tailored. This is some great yarn. Vibrant and lively.

This is a fun lacey poncho designed by using Lion Brand yarn. It is made by joining two sections that are crocheted separately and then finished off with a cute border that brings the look together. It is made with bulky yarn but the stitching is very open so this keeps the poncho from feeling too heavy.

I would wear this over a pretty teal tunic, something with a cowl on it, so it kind of spills over the top of the poncho "v" neckline. PERFECT color combo in this yarn. It seems easy enough to put together, and there is a nice diagram for proper placement. It looks super soft and cozy!

This Rainbow Lace Poncho is a very appropriate accessory for this fall season. The colors blend well with the autumn leaves that bloom in a kaleisdoscope of colors then subsequently fall to the ground. This lacee poncho matches well with the season. Amazing!

I have made many items from Lorene from Cre8tion Crochet's patterns and she always tries to make them as simple as she can and they are easy to work up. I have not made this poncho, but it is on my list. I love the yarn she chose for the sample and I like that it is worked with a big hook which means it usually works up quicker.

My aunt and I both tried this one and neither of us can get it together properly. It doesn't look like a poncho. It looks like a crooked mess. What are we doing wrong? Attach one side, and the other doesn't fit to make a "v".

Hi momsangel, I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble! This isn't our project, it's a project from cre8tioncrochet.com, so my suggestion would be to go to the blogger's page and ask her, or post your question to our Facebook wall to see if anyone in our group has any suggestions. :) Thanks so much, and good luck! Did you check measurements as you went along? Measuring and gauge are important on patterns like this one. So is making sure to use the same types of yarn, same hook sizes, and keeping your tension the same. While they may be easy patterns, if one side is off, the points will not line up so it centers correctly.

This is the perfect poncho for a cool night out on the town. Just what you need when its too chilly for a tank top and too warm for long sleeves. This poncho falls right between the two. If you are like me you always need an extra layer when you go into a restaurant where it is always chilly.

This is quite possibly the most gorgeous poncho I have EVER seen! The colors are fabulous and I just LOVE that it is lightweight and absolutely perfect for autumn which will arrive here in South Africa in just a few short months. Every time I visit this All Free Crochet website I find more things that I simply HAVE to make but the No. 1 spot on that list is now occupied by this beautiful poncho!
