"The Nautical Crochet Basket Pattern is a quick and easy crochet project made using t-shirt yarn and a large crochet hook. This basket also features grommets and rope for handles, giving it an extra sea side feel. This basket could be made with any yarn and the size can easily be adjusted by continuing the repeats of the bottom, or the basket can be made smaller by skipping some of the increase rows. These would be great gift baskets or party favors if made smaller!"

I have a few other nautical themed baskets, but theyre made primarily of natural colored rope. This clever idea lets me use colored yarn instead. I havent been able to find this exact yarn, but something like the Bernat Blanket would probably work, and I also found their Outdoor yarn marked down at JoAnns. I picked up a couple of skeins and will get some more now.
