Moogly is always right on with her designs. The Moroccan Basket is no exception. Thought beautiful in the neutral color theme (which is her favorite color theme!), this basket begs to be done up in a turquoise and ocean blue color, flecked with white. Just beautiful!

I love the look of this basket. The colors are beautiful, and it looks very durable. There are so many things we could keep in this type of basket, I cant wait to make a bunch. We will need plenty of different storage options when we move into our new house.

I think this is the first basket I have seen with a liner attached in the crochet of the project. This Moroccan basket gets its name for the stitch used to create it but it should include somewhere in the title sturdy. I can not wait to make this one. It is an attractive basket that I can use in every room of the house.

The Moroccan basket really has a lot of texture. I love the color but went on line and determined there are a total of eight colors of this brand of yarn. I am leaning to the color hot springs for the outside but I think I will use the colors given so that I will have a "true" color basket on the first go round.

Oh yeah! I really, really like the looks of this basket! It's rustic without being earthy. I've never done some of this before but I like what I've seen of Moogly and appreciate the artists sense of style, her tutorials, her videos enough to give this a go! Thank you so much for this pattern!

The Moroccan stitch is not like your typical stitch. I have never used this stitch before. This is a cute idea to have on your desk at work to stash you personal items such as cell phone, snacks, tissue or what ever you might need to keep handy to use during the day. Looks like it would work up quickly and looks easy to make.

This is a really unique looking basket. The pattern is a little complicated for me but the blogger has posted a video tutorial to help out, so I'm hoping I'll get the hang of it. A basket done in red and pink for Valentine's Day would be cute, maybe add ribbon bows too?

Perfect basket. I don't have super chunky yarn in my stash, but I can certainly use 2 strands as a substitute. This would make a neat present for som of my friends. Maybe in their favorite colors.

This is a seriously cute pattern! I know I have some chunky yarn in my stash, but I don't think I have any super chunky. This looks like a great pattern to use two shades of the same color or totally opposite colors. I'm thinking orange and purple or orange and black for handing out Halloween candy or pastel colors for Easter baskets. What colors would you use and for what occasion?
