Tooth Applique
"I have a son who is seven. At this age, the Tooth Fairy is visiting our home pretty often. And, of course, I had to make a Crochet Tooth! On my website, you can find a lot of Heart Shaped Appliques, and this crochet Tooth pattern is not an exception – its design is also based on the pattern for the heart. With this crochet Tooth Applique, you can embellish a Tooth Fairy Pillow, as well as a Tooth Fairy Pouch or Bag. Or, you can sew this Tooth Applique on your child’s clothes or embellish whatever you would like!"
Crochet HookH/8 or 5 mm hook
Yarn Weight(4) Medium Weight/Worsted Weight and Aran (16-20 stitches to 4 inches)
Crochet Gaugenot critical
Finished SizeI made the Tooth Appliques in two sizes: Small Tooth Applique is about 1-1/2” (4 cm) tall. Large Tooth Applique is about 2-1/2” (6 cm) tall.

As soon as I saw this was a Golden Lucy project, I immediately started looking for the hearts. What this woman can do with simple heart shapes is astonishing! While the tooth appliqus arent heart shaped (the tiny bows are), they are based on that initial shape. I like that idea for a Tooth Pouch, too. Wouldnt it be adorable with gauzy wings and features like a fairy?
