Well, I have to say that it is not often I see patterns of any kind for peanuts. I guess we all have our favorites and although I enjoy a handful of peanuts from time to time I never would have thought to make one as a crochet project. Wacky and quirky and I love it.

While reading over some of the earlier posts on the directions page I see that someone was inquiring on possibly making the pattern into a bunting. I agree that this would be an adorable baby bunting. I also like it just the way it is.

This is just so adorable. I love this project, and actually have another suggestion. Instead of stuffing the peanut, you can stitch it together as directed but leave the very bottom open. Then you would have a cute puppet, or if you worked it in cotton, a handy bath mitt. You could also change the features slightly and make a Little Mr. Peanut, too.
