"With spring not too far off, I thought a set of Farm Animals Hand Puppets would be cute (and quick) to make for kids. I made a horse, cow, pig, chick and frog. I used worsted weight #4 yarn. This complete project only uses one hook size - a 4.5mm hook. If so desired, you could use cotton yarn and make these for bath time. But, I'm donating mine to my church for Puppet plays and story time with the younger kids. I hope you all will enjoy this pattern."

Oh no! Why are you doing this to me? These are adorable and so easy to make. Thank goodness for that. I have four young grand kids so you know I will have to make one for each of them. I better get started so I can add these to their after baskets.

This is a delightful little collection! Since all the puppets are worked from the same basic pattern, it would be easy to use your imagination to expand to other critters as well. The text is well written but unfortunately there arent any individual photos to guide the crafter. You can easily enlarge the page to see the details of the group photo so that may be enough for some crafters.
