Wavy Lines Dishcloth
"The 'Wavy Lines' Dishcloth is quick and easy project, great for gift giving. You'll need just one ball of cotton yarn (approx. 100 yards) to make one dishcloth. Dress up your kitchen with a pop of color, and (maybe) it will make cleaning more fun. No promises though!"
Crochet HookG/6 or 4 mm hook
Yarn Weight(4) Medium Weight/Worsted Weight and Aran (16-20 stitches to 4 inches)
Crochet Gauge2" - 7 st x 5 rows in hdc
Finished Size7-1/2" x 9"
Materials List
- 100 yards worsted weight cotton yarn (1 ball)
- G hook
- 2 stitch markers or bobby pins
- Needle for weaving in ends

Ive worked so many variations of this Wavy Lines stitch pattern, and I never tire of it. It just comes out great every time no matter if Im working a small project like this dishcloth or a larger one like a lapghan. My favorite place to use this is in hats! One of my favorite hat variations is called Brain Wave, and I cant even remember how many Ive worked up. Try it for yourself!

Here is a fun stitch pattern to learn. Practice on several dishcloths in great colors. Then you are totally ready for that larger project like a baby blanket or a full-size afghan. What would be cute I think is to make a lot of these up and then stitch them together in opposite directions. Make each block in a different color, or all the same...it will be very eye catching
