My Favorite Dishcloth
"This dishcloth is my favorite! Works up quickly and has such a satisfying pattern. This dishcloth features the seed stitch and round circle corner to easily hang the dishcloth for drying. I make a ton of these at Christmas each year to hand out as gifts for my family. They love them! Very cute! This pattern uses a size G crochet hook and 100% cotton yarn (I used Lily Sugar'n Cream). Enjoy the free pattern!"

This dishcloth looks more like a pot holder than anything else. Maybe its the solid texture and the ring at one corner. The project uses Single Crochet and Chains exclusively, and the pattern calls for repeating Row 2 until the square is complete. Whether you use this as a dishcloth or a potholder, be sure to use a good quality cotton yarn.

I would call this my favorite dishcloth, too! For seniors who want to enjoy their favorite craft while sitting around the table visiting with others, or for beginner crocheters like 'tweens or teens, I vote for this dishcloth as your go-to practice project. You pick your favorite color cotton yarn and go from there. Can't go wrong. Great Mother's Day gift -)
