Hostess Dishcloth
"This super easy washcloth is a breeze to make with simple crochet stitches. The texture is eye catching and is great to use for scrubbing! With this pattern, you will find a full written pattern as well as a video tutorial to walk to through how to make the stitch. If you are comfortable with single crochet stitches and chain stitches, this pattern will be a breeze. Make some today for your kitchen or for your friend or loved one's kitchen and bath!"

I have not made this Hostess Dishcloth yet but I will today. I have a ball of cotton yarn in my yarn stash that will work for this interesting dishcloth. After reading the written pattern and watching the video this one will work out great! Before I watched the video I was thinking how can this stay square if you are crocheting two together? But the video clears that one up.I like the unusual stitches used to make this one stand out. I think I'll make a few of these and have them on hand to give as last minute gifts. Every home can use a dishcloth, right? This one will be nice to keep and give. Thank you so much for this free crochet pattern.

If you are a beginner, and you'd like to create something a little faster than you can a scarf, give a dishcloth a try. They really do make great gifts, in a set of three- matching or in coordinated colors. I myself, should practice this new stitch pattern. Somtimes a person with experience gets stuck on using the same stitches in her work -). I would love a simple single crochet border in a contrast color, too.

I try to remember to always take a hostess gift with me to a dinner party hosted at someones home, especially if it is a new friend or acquaintance. I think this is just polite and shows that you appreciate them thinking enough about you to include you. I also like to receive them too. This would be a great gift.

Another great dishcloth pattern - and a video tutorial to boot. You can't ask for more. I make all my dishcloths now. It is a good take along project to do on the bus or train and it takes no time. I made one in a single subway ride. They look nicer and last longer than store bought ones and they wash up nicely. This will be perfect. Thank you.
