Harry Potter Apron

"Okay, here's something special and cute for all the Harry Potter fans out there. It's a quick and easy crochet pattern for a Harry Potter Apron - in sizes for Toddler - Adult. I used Red Heart Supersaver yarn. This would be great for Mom to wear in the kitchen while cooking or for a kid to wear as part of a costume for Halloween or for everyday play with dress-up. It uses less than half a skein of yarn of each color. I hope you will enjoy this pattern as much as I did in designing it."

NotesThe hook size will depend on the apron size you are making...

Easy

Crochet HookG/6 or 4 mm hook, H/8 or 5 mm hook, J/10 or 6 mm hook

Yarn Weight(4) Medium Weight/Worsted Weight and Aran (16-20 stitches to 4 inches)

This is such a magical apron. Any Harry Potter fan would appreciate this apron. I, myself have watched all the movies and thought they were really fun but this just does not float my boat but I know a certain your girl that would love to have one of these.

Can you believe the first Harry Potter book was published in 1997?! At that time my nephew was just a teenager and was so in love with the series. Thirteen years later, I believe he is still a fan. I wonder if he would appreciate this? I think it is cute.

Oh my gosh, this is too cute! As an almost life-long Harry Potter fan, I think I need one of these.

Were HUGE Harry Potter fans so weve enjoyed sharing our passion with the grandkids. Long before the Darth Vader commercial, we were helping our grandkids remotely unlock car doors using our hidden remote. So I was tickled pink when I saw this project. I especially love the faux shirt and tie portion. So clever! Thanks for finding and posting this one.

Certainly no shortage of pictures on her pattern page. We see it in baby and adult sizes, and every size inbetween. It uses the budget friendly Red Heart Super Saver yarn, so bonus points for that. All you need to know is how to do the half double crochet and HDC (half double crochet) together. Couldn't be easier. This is a great casual costume piece, as well.
