Happy Day Rainbow Dishcloth
"Who doesn’t love the energizing colors of the rainbow??? Infuse a little extra happiness into your kitchen, or use as a washcloth for the bath. It also makes a great oversized “mug rug”, trivet, or blanket square. This square works up pretty quickly, so be sure to save the pattern because it may become your go-to when you need a quick little gift to brighten someone's day! A versatile square, this pattern can help you achieve many different looks just by playing with the colors."

I have not made this yet, I can see it is a Granny Square stitch pattern, so I can figure it out myself, but, the web page that is supposed to have the pattern, is not there. It's not a broken link, just no longer serviced and is 'for sale' without the content, I presume.

This modified Granny Square is so cute, and I love the clever little cloud border along two sides. The spiffy little scrapbuster is not only easy but quick to work up. My senior ladies will love this one, and I might even get my teens to work on this one, too. These would make sweet gifts, and packaged in twos, a great idea for a craft bazaar.

I have found one of the cutest things I have ever seen here. And not only DANG CUTE but as SIMPLE as can be! If you are a beginner looking to branch out and start learning how crochet can be a fun craft I think you could do this! It will help you get practice with fastening off and tying on new colors. I LOVE this for the kitchen as a trivet to just make me happy in the morning!
