As a child, I always thought of place mats as being a bother. Now that I have my own table to protect, I can understand what all the fuss was about. During the holiday when we move into the dining room it is a necessity to use a place mat and these would be a great addition to the table. I know I will use a fall color to compliment the decor during Thanksgiving.
