"I designed these easy peasy bowl cosies after seeing quilted fabric ones online. They are quickly worked up in rounds and can be made in stripes or just one colour! Just reach into your stash of scrap cotton yarns, grab a 2.5mm crochet hook and get crocheting! I chose cotton yarn for its durability. My bowl cosies have been through the washing machine over and over with minimal signs of wear. This pattern should fit a bowl approximately 15-17cm in diameter at the top, 6-8cm at the base and 7cm high."

Bowl cozy and IKEA. Whats not to like about this very practical project? I dont have this particular set of IKEA dishes, but I have some others. And with a super hot summer this year, weve been using the microwave more often. This wonderful little scrap buster will solve the mystery of the disappearing tea towels at my house, too.
