I think using them on the table as hot pads on which you set your hot bowls and platters would be nice. You can also whip stitch a bunch together to form a table runner or even place mats. They would be so cute. Just add some loose open stitches in between.

Full pattern can be found here http//crochetncreate.com/circular-coaster/ . According to the designer, these cute coasters will be excellent paired with her mandala which she also shares a link to get the pattern in her posting of these. Together, the set would make a very nice hostess gift for someone special at your next gathering.

In just five easy rows you can have a coaster such as this for yourself! Personally, I would make several of these and use them in other ways, too. Like a motif embellishment on a plain white pillow case or plain toss pillow- to add new life to something old and otherwise boring! I like coming up with different uses for my crochet because I am creative like that. This pattern is really nice and simple.
