I have seen crochet medium with yarn and thread but this is the first project that I have seen that the designer has used wire to create a finished product. I must admit I am intrigued about the idea of using wire to make anything. Thanks for sharing this tealight holder design.

This is a very interesting concept. I know that wire is used to make jewelry but I never though about using it to crochet with. From the minds of great thinkers I am never shocked or surprised. Now when I get to the local hobby store I have to put 28 gauge silver wire on my ever growing list of things I want to buy. I can not wait to try this project.

Great find. I have a lot of beading wire that is sitting around collecting dust. I have had it for quite a while and have never really bothered to do anything with it. I had planned on using it to crochet some bracelets with beads mixed in, but this project is way better. Love the way the candles combine with the wire.

What a great idea this Wire Crochet Tealight Holder is. I should of thought of this. LOL, I do a a lot of wire work and just love this. To make them more interesting, I'm going to add some beads to the bottom round so they won't scratch the deck railing. Thank you for this free crochet pattern.
