Triangle Lace
"This free triangle lace crochet pattern would make lovely bunting. It would also look great made up in cotton and used as a trivet. I’ve got a few more plans for this cute pattern too, be sure to come back and see. This Triangle Lace works up very quickly and it's easy to make. The finished size would depend on the yarn you use but my sample uses Vanna’s Choice Worsted Weight is approx 9” from corner to corner."

What would be wrong with having this as a doily? Sometimes there are spaces in the home that could use a little doily. For instance. I have three round tables in the living room that could stand something added. Making three of these in contrasting/coordinating colors would make great doilies on round tables to go under the small flower pot and candy dishes that sit on those three tables. They would be a great accent.

I would love to think that I am really great with crochet but in actuality I am not. With this triangle lace pattern if I am correct, by omitting the last round, the triangle would be more appropriate for joining to make a larger article. It would be like having a granny triangle. Now if I could use that old brain to create something.

This is gorgeous, but Im struggling to think of a way to use it other than a doily. Its a little big for an appliqu, although it would be okay on a pair of jeans or matching jeans jacket. It would nice framed and hung on the wall as a representation of your craft. Now if it were worked up in black, I can see it as part of a costume, too.
