Soft Waves Twin Afghan
"This afghan uses a single row repeat. The soft waves of the chevron pattern are fun to make and soothing to look at. This project was created for my grandchildren. This project is easy to make, uses Hobby Lobby's Yarn Bee Sugarwheel. I used a K hook, this afghan works up quickly and is rated easy. This pattern is written in American crochet terms. What colors would you make your blanket? Sample shown is done in Blueberry Pie."

Everyone loves a soft ripple afghan and this Soft Waves Twin Afghan is a easy way to make one. The written pattern is well written, short and sweet. A easy one row repeat makes a nice looking afghan. I like that she uses a yarn that has a self stirpping effect. This blue one would be great for father's day gift. Thank you for sharing this free crochet afghan pattern.

Seriously, you can take just about any yarn cake from any of your favorite craft stores and create any color ripple afghan you desire. Although the blue would probably be my favorite pick! Shades of rose, pink, fuschia, and hot pink would be a close second. My only complaint would be that it works up so fast and I would have so much fun making it- that I probably would finish it in a weekend!
