Rectangular Crochet Basket
"These rectangular baskets are so quick and easy to make. They use basic stitches and can be adjusted to meet your needs. I used chunky yarn but you can also use 2 strands of medium weight yarn. They are a great way to organize a baby's room or your home. By adjusting the sizes of your baskets you can make sets with different size baskets. They make great gifts."
NotesI hope you enjoy this project. The blog post contains the full written pattern along with a link to a video tutorial. Enjoy!

It looks so pretty done up in the pale pastels! I can see this in the baby's nursery for lotions and creams. What a neat baby shower gift when filled with some of your fave baby products. It is worked up differently than other baskets I have seen. It uses flaps on all four sides, and it looks like it has a double reinforced bottom to it which will give extra support while holding heavy items.

Oh, this little basket is perfect actually for what I am working on now which is my Christmas gifts to the girls in the office. I am making crochet spa cloths and was planning on including some homemade soaps and this would be a neat item for me to place them in so it all stays together. I am definitely printing this out and giving it a try later today.
