These acorns are a snap to work up. I have a huge oak tree in my back garden, so finding the caps is not a problem. I have to confess to harboring a secret desire to work up a crocheted fairy cottage, and these would be a wonderful addition. I love finding patterns from other artists around the world! Do yourself a favor and explore some of AnneMaries other projects.

Saravis, try a G hook with Worsted weight yarn (marked as 4 in the yarn weight). For most crocheters that will make an acorn tight enough that the stuffing won't show through. The pattern calls for fine (2) . If you use that weight try a C or D hook, which again will make the fabric tight enough that the stuffing won't show through. I think they would be cute in worsted....
