"This is a free crochet pattern for Petunia Coaster with photo tutorial in each step. These coasters are so basic and traditional yet diverse in design that when created in a different color, it tends to take on the mood of the color choice. It is designed to be elegant with the intent to be casual also. Finished coaster measurement is 4 inches square. Approximately 5 pcs of coaster in 1 ball of Aunt Lydia's Fashion Crochet #3. This is crocheted in round from center to outside the square."
Crochet HookD/3 or 3.25 mm hook
Yarn Weight(3) Light/DK (21-24 stitches to 4 inches)
Crochet Gauge4" square = completed pattern

So glad this finally made it over to AllFreeCrochet. I found this while looking at another project from the same designer, and it was so pretty that I had to download it and work it up at once. Its a little fiddly at first, but it works up just beautifully, and I cant recommend it highly enough. In addition to being a coaster, several squares would make a pretty afghan, too.
