Modern Crochet Outdoor Rug

I was not aware that this type of material of the local big box hardware store. I can hope that the price will be right so that I can make this outdoor rug in a much larger size than shown here. I could probably treat it to withstand mildew because I am sure it will get wet.

Don't they make colorfast cording just for use outdoors? You can also get away with using the clothesline in nylon. White won't fade. Although for me, I would love to see this door mat in a bright and welcoming turquoise, which is one of my favorite colors of all time. For clothing AND home decor. Neat idea and something different to do other than another shawl. colorfast

I would never have thought to use paracord to make a mat. I have never had a mat outside the front door but now there is no reason that I can not. The paracord can be washed when needed and that makes it just that more practical.

I agree with the previous poster. This is just too pretty to be tossed outside. Here in Florida with the humidity factor, it would get mold very quickly. I want it for my bathroom. It would really work well. With some puffy paint on the back side it won't slide either!

It's such a beautiful piece I wouldn't want it to get ruined outside. I know it's made of durable cord, but I would probably use it indoors.
