What a clever idea! Ive seen all sorts of things worked into embroidery hoops, but never a mandala. The designer uses 5 hoops, but you could easily enlarge the mandala to fit a bigger hoop. Do pay attention to her tips about attaching the mandala to the hoop, especially if you are using worsted. Theres not much room between the inner and outer rings.
