This is interesting. This banner would be a great item to hang near your coffee bar if you have one in your home as a lot of homes now do. It would jut be a way to add a little happiness to the home. We all know how important that first cup of joe is.

This is a clever idea for a kitchen pennant. One of my young friends has just opened a donut and bagel shop, and I know they offer coffee and other hot drinks. Ill see if shes interested in this for her shop. It certainly smacks of homemade! The only thing Id add is a few steamy wisps coming from the top of the cup.

I do love coffee. I have to have a couple of cups right after I get up every morning and then again around 300 for my afternoon coffee break. I like this banner and it would look really good hanging in our coffee nook at work. This is what has been missing.

This is so cute. And the directions are so wonderfully written that it will be very easy to follow. I want to hang it in my craft room. Everyone jokes that if I have a cup of coffee in one hand and a crochet hook in the other that I won't be coming out for awhile.

So this banner is a completed size of 19" in length and 14" in width. I love the look of a wooden curtain rod with vintage finials on the ends, and I would choose my yarn colors to be vintage in appeal, too. Maybe with a celery green, a light baby blue, and an espresso color. As far as the coffee cup I would do an applique for that instead of crocheting it right into the body of the work. I think it would provide a much cleaner looking coffee cup. However, you decide what you like best and go for it!
