Santa's Sack Ornament or Gift Card Holder
This adorable little Santa sack is the perfect way to deliver your gifts! The Santa's Sack Ornament is crocheted using Size 10 Crochet Thread. All of the stitches are easy and the pattern works up quickly, which is nice when you need a gift in a hurry. The belt and buckle are crocheted separately and then stitched into place using a tapestry needle and the long tail of thread left over from crocheting those pieces. Very little thread is needed to complete the project so you could easily make a large quantity of these ornaments from your spools of thread.

I had posted about this last year and at that time I hadn't made any. Then I have one to my grand daughter and she showed her friend and it started an avalanche. Her friends mom wanted some and I ended up making almost two dozen. It was really a major endeavor.

Adorable ornament to hang on the family Christmas tree. At our house, we really try not to give each other gift cards so this would make a special ornament. Thanks for the free pattern .

This is such a cute way to distribute those gift cards at Christmas. Even before they are given to the recipient they can be part of the decor on the family Christmas tree. Let's see, how many will I need to make?

If you feel like giving a gift card is just too impersonal, heres a nice solution. The recipient doesnt just get the card, but a one of a kind Christmas ornament as well. Even though its designed as a card holder, you could also make up a batch and tuck in all sorts of little surprises inside. It would make an interesting alternative to an Advent calendar.

This is down right adorable. I can use it in a variety of ways. As an ornament of course and with four little grand kids I can always use some Unbreakable ones on the tree. I can also use it as a gift card holder and as a tag on packages.

I am always on the lookout for a new ornament for my tree. This one looks very cute. I would definitely make one of these.
