Happy Holidays Tree Skirt
Happy Holidays Tree Skirt

"One project I plan to do each year is crochet a new tree skirt for our Christmas tree. And until now, I’ve always failed - too many gifts to make, too much to do to get ready. But THIS year, I finally got it on the to do list and I’m so very happy I did, and I can’t wait to share it with all of you - introducing the Happy Holidays Tree Skirt! The Happy Holidays Tree Skirt can be made in a weekend if you’re in a bit of a rush, but it’s a great pattern to relax by the fire with too! The repeat is super easy to memorize, and carrying the yarn along the side means there are just a few ends to weave in when you’re done. And you can make it just the size you want - just stop crocheting the repeat when you’re done!"

These are the traditional colors of Christmas but I have gone another route. I can still see this beautiful happy holidays tree skirt under my tree but in the colors that I choose to decorate with, navy blue, silver and white.

I know this is a tree skirt but if the center were closed up with a magic circle and a different combination of colors were used, this would be an awesome floor covering or afghan. I just love the ziz-zag look in the pattern.

Quite a unique looking Christmas tree skirt. I am partial to stripes and this has that classic Christmas colors- the red, green and white of course! Nothing fancy here, just a classic look. You can really tie this into other crochet decor in your home by making a table runner in a simple double crochet of two rows of each color. Don't even need a pattern for that! I like the inexpensive yarn that is used, too. There could be pets playing around your tree and they might make a mess! Nice to have something washable -)

I agree, this is one of the prettiest tree skirts Ive come across, too. It has such clean lines and those stripes would be just as welcome under both a contemporary or traditionally decorated tree. Well, maybe not one of those metallic tinsel-y ones! The little divets that go across the skirt remind me of a cake decorating technique, too. Another winner from Tamara at MooglyBlog!

For me, this is so far the most beautiful and most organized (in terms of design) Christmas tree skirt I've seen on the Internet. I have pinned lots of skirts already but this one, I think I want to make as gifts for my girlfriends for next Christmas season. This Happy Holidays Tree Skirt is so pleasant in the eyes. It was designed in such a way that your focus will be the tree itself or when it has bieen filled with gifts, the gifts will be the focus of your attention. Your eyes will not stray somewhere.

This is so cute! It would definitely brighten up my livin room.
