Easter Egg Cover
"The best ever Easter Egg Covers are super easy and fun to crochet. These little cuties will become a favorite of Easter Egg Hunters. These are worked in a flat panel and then gathered at the end. The writtten pattern (blog post) also contains a link for a free YouTube video tutorial for visual learners. This is a fun way to use up your small scraps of yarn. I made mine in a pale yellow but you can choose whatever colors you prefer. The drawstring can be made using a variety of colors. Only small amounts of yarn are needed to make these cuties. Enjoy!"

These are so clever! Whats really nice is that they can cover both candy and plastic eggs (real ones, too???) AND they are reusable from year to year. Dont stop with just chicksyou can alter the beak and make little duckies, too. The designer has included wonderful photos to go along with the instructions, and that video is practically a Crochet Along.
