"I wanted to make sure that if I was going to write a pattern for a Messy bun hat that there would be something for everyone in it. I know there are people with short hair or those that never wear their hair up so I wanted to make sure that this hat could be made as a traditional closed top hat and a messy bun hat without too much difference between the two. Only the first two rounds of the hat are different. You can choose your option and make either hat with ease or make one of each!
