I have never tried to make a slouchy beanie, but I feel like this is one I might have to make. The design is sure to catch someones eye, and it would be a great way to let people know just how talented you are! I think this would look beautiful in any color also, so you can make it to match your own preferences.

This hat has one of the prettiest and usual stitch patterns around. It is listed as an Advanced pattern, but it doesnt use any stitch more difficult than a Front Post Double Crochet. I love how the first few rows form that intriguing flower motif on top. No real need to add a pom although an oversized one would be interesting.

Gray skies are gonna clear up! Put on a happy face! He-he -) I like this for an early springtime hat because it kind of reminds me of those early spring gray skies brewing with spring thunderstorms. It seems like it is a nice medium weight hat and we do not need a bulky winter hat in spring! pretty wavy design!

First I have to say that I'm not a big fan of the slouchy hats, but this one is so sweet looking! After reading the written pattern and doing a small swatch I will be making a few of these for our hat basket. I just love unique looking hats and this one will be great to add to our collection.
