Its a little strange that Im reviewing this pattern right now. Exactly a year ago, I was sitting in ICU, hoping against every doctors opinion, that my husband would wake up from his heart attack. Working up this simple, repetitive pattern literally kept me sane. I kept praying and crocheting, so when we left the hospital, the hats would go to the NICU. I lost count of how many hats, but a year later, Im happy to report my husband is sitting beside me, fully recovered, and typing away on his own projects.
