"This simple beret is decorated with three rings of cross stitches around the bottom. The beret is easy to make with single crochet and a band of post stitches. It will be nice and warm when made with Sprightly Acrylic Wool, and you can certainly change the colors to suit your style. Looking at the side view of this project made me really curious about how it looked from the front and top. The front is highlighted by both the stitch texture and the cross stitch detail. The top is more structured than most berets Ive seen. The instructions are easy to follow, and the designer includes the stitch count at the end of each round (Thanks!!!)
