Its a good thing that we have a brand new baby granddaughter in the family because this is one adorable pattern. I have sewn doll clothes for more than 50 years so Im quite familiar with smocking, but Ive never seen it done in crochet. I will tell you that after watching the embedded video, theres no way I would even attempt it without watching several more times.
