"This is a free crochet pattern for Rheema Popcorn Beanie, for a 6-12 months old baby, for kids and adult, with photo tutorial in each step. This beanie uses the hdc camel stitch. In this free pattern, you have to learn how to crochet camel stitch. Lately I have been seeing a lot of beanies over the net about camel stitch, so here is a version of mine. All hdc in this pattern are using the camel stitch technique, so when you see a hdc (camel) you have to insert your hook at the back bump of the specified st."
Crochet HookG/6 or 4 mm hook, H/8 or 5 mm hook, I/9 or 5.5 mm hook
Yarn Weight(3) Light/DK (21-24 stitches to 4 inches)
Crochet Gauge(Baby size) 2 inches square = 8 Sts x 4 Rows of DC

There are no lack of resources if you want to work up this charming little hat! The designer provides the crafter with text, video and photo tutorials for the specialized stitches required for this pattern. The Camel Stitch is one of my favorites and such a simple way to add interesting texture. Im always happy to see it pop up in a project.
