Monster Mash Beanie of Earflap Hat
"At first glimpse, I know you're thinking, "Not another Fun Fur hat. I despise working with Fun Fur!" BUT in this case, you can't judge the book by its cover! This pattern IS NOT written using 1 strand of Worsted Weight held together with 1 strand of Fun Fur! This pattern is written using a quick and easy technique that allows you to see your stitches with the fun fur and it also uses less fun fur. After working your hat using this technique, you'll never work with fun fur the same again! :D Do you have little ones who like to pretend they're furry monsters? If so, they'll love the Monster Mash Beanie or Earflap. They'll have fun helping you customize their monster's face."

This is a cute hat but I also balked at working that much Fun Fur. However, the designer assures the crafter that she has a better way of dealing with this tricky yarn. After reading through the instructions, Im not quite as confident in the designers claims. She has the crafter working Single Crochet into the Front Loops of the entire hat. Thats almost like working it twice. I love these monster hats, but I dont think Ill be working them any time soon.
