"Here's the third set in my Messy Bun Animal Hats Collection. This set is Farm Animals - a cow, a horse and a pig. I used Hobby Lobby's, I Love This Yarn, and each hat works up fairly quickly. Easy for a beginner crocheter. Each one is made to fit a Teen - Adult sized head. Fun and cute hats aren't just for babies, kids or tots!!! For a tween, you just need to go down in your hook size. Be sure to check out my Woodland and Arctic Animals sets as well."

These adorable hats make me miss all the animals we had on our big farm when the kids were growing up. We had all these animals and even more! These hats are very simple to work up as you start with a commercial ponytail band. Ive tried several kinds of bands, and the thickest ones (sort of flat) from the Dollar Tree work the best. At 20 for one dollar, theyre a real steal, too.
