Leafly Autumn Hat
"Looking for a nice fall hat? Here you can find my free crochet pattern - including a video tutorial - to make the Leafly autumn hat. The pattern works up fast and uses double crochet stitches. The leaves are created with extreme drop stitches - it might sound hard, but they're really easy and fun to make! The potential for colors for this hat is endless, so enjoy playing around with colors. P.s. are you Canadian? Use red yarn to create a patriotic Canada version of this hat!"

I simply love this hat. It was hard to tell exactly what style (beanie, slouchie or beret) this hat was from the initial photos, but going to the website and video, it looks like an oversized beanie. Im going to tinker with the pattern a bit because I think it would be fantastic as a tam or beret. That style would really let the extreme stitched leaves pop out! Great suggestion about Canadian maple leaves, too! My favorite hockey team, too.
