Highlands Beanie
"The Highlands Beanie uses the half double crochet stitch and is a bottom up style crochet pattern. I used worsted weight (4) or arran yarn and there is a row using the back loop only single crochet stitch to create a nice finish along the bottom of the hat. Another feature of this pattern is that it is mostly made in a spiral, so you don't have a visible seam that usually occurs when you crochet individual rows that need to be joined as you crochet your hat."
