Great Lakes Beanie
"The Great Lakes Beanie is stylish one skein project with lots of texture. Warm enough to keep out the winter chill or fun to wear as a fashion piece. The stitches in this pattern are basic. What gives the Great Lakes Beanie that awesome texture is how it is worked. It is easy to follow and I will talk you through it every step of the way! The Great Lakes Beanie is sized for an average size woman. Instructions are given for adjusting the size to the perfect fit!"

This is just art to me. I cannot get enough of browsing and looking at crochet patterns of ALL types, with ALL types of yarns and colors! There is something about this pop of yellow color in the dark of winter that just looks so different. This hat will get you noticed and set you apart from the crowd! My favorite thing about this beanie is that it does not require me to sew the top shut as it is worked FROM the top down, on one piece!

This hat has such an interesting texture pattern. Its worked from the top down, so the increases are made as one would expect. The texture starts at Round 12, and you will need to pay attention. The stitches arent unusual, but you will be working both the Right side and Wrong side to get the intended effect. I generally highlight these changes with BOLD type to make sure I dont miss them.

Beanies galore are what I am finding now on all of the sites. It is cold so it is very fitting to find them, but sometimes you can go into beanie overload. LOL Winter is so much more than just beanies for the adults. I think more of kids when I see a beanie pattern. I like looking for the unique patterns.
